We had a great time see our friends Jonathan and Julie get married! The ceremony was a traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony--very interesting! And the reception was at this incredibly cool plantation home called Spindletop. The whole space was amazing but I was totally enthralled with the downstairs. It was very much decorated as a true Lexington boys club. The horse and racing memorabilia were everywhere but in a very unique way! A few of my favorite details were the frames that were hung on stirrups and the chandeliers made of old carriage lights.
And I am a terrible blogger and did not get a picture of Julie's dress. However, just take my word for it, it was BEAUTIFUL! She wore her mom's veil and it was a show stopper; vintage, lace and full of sentimental value.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!!
