I am back again today joining up with Katie and Steph for another rendition of Saw It Pinned It Did It.
This week, a Christmas card frame.
I pinned this last Christmas season
and this year put it into action.
I used a frame that we already had from our frame wall, and multiple colors and types of ribbon I had in my collection and hung it up on our striped wall.
I started with:
a frame (I had or Goodwill is always a good/cheap resource)
hot glue gun and glue sticks
1-5 types of ribbon or fabric
double sided tape (to tape cards on)
This was such an easy and quick project.
Literally, it took me about 5 minutes to do this.
Measure your ribbon or fabric and apply a small dab of hot glue on each side.
Seriously, couldn't be easier.
I was really hoping we would have more Christmas cards before I did this post...
I swear we usually have more than this by now.

I really like the way this turned out and think I will do it again next year!
It also really makes me want to find a frame/art/mirror for this striped wall now.
First project after the new year...
P.s. I am participating in a giveaway over at Shanna's blog!
Hi to everyone visiting from there!

Love this idea!! How easy! Love that striped wall... Jealous!
First love this idea! Second omg I totally agree. We have only received TWO cards so far! What's up with that!
This is SO cute. I saw something similar but with wires, and I like yours a lot better. Count me in with loving the striped wall. I think everyone is behind on Christmas cards this year (myself included).
You have more cards than we do :)
I am glad to see you hang up "old fashioned" cards, too. I saw a post on another blog last year where the family hung up photo cards that came but didn't display regular, folding, non-photo cards (since we don't have kids yet and Fred is usually covered in drool, these are the kind I send out after careful selection & note writing). Rude!
What a great idea! I usually just hang ours on the back of your front door.
This is fantastic! I love it!! I may have to try this!! :)
Lookin good Sarah! In love the red and white ribbon; looks like peppermint :-)
wow, I love this, wonder if I have time yet to make one...
Stopping by from the link-up! Your card holder turned out so cute! You're not alone though... we've only received 3 Christmas cards so far this year! :( It's definitely at tradition that is fading out!
It looks great! I'm going to host a Christmas card link up on Monday so that everyone can show off their Christmas cards and wish everyone a Wonderful holiday season. I can't wait to see what everyone did this year!
This is really pretty! I like how simple, functional and yet stylish and really cute for the holidays :)
Love this idea! I seriously have NO clue what to do with all of our Christmas cards every year. This is a great way to display them and so easy even I could do it!

This is so fun and easy! We need more Christmas card too...maybe we don't have as many friends as we thought!
Yes, yes, and more yessess. Love this idea!
Cute! Mine is pretty similar, but I took the back and covered it with wrapping paper so right now (when we don't have a lot of cards) it still looks cute on the wall.
That is really cute! Good job!
This is a really fun idea also. Would it be wrong to have two card holders...ha! I think I may need more Christmas cards :)
Ok this just might be my favorite Christmas card holders to date!!! So so cute!!
Thanks for linking up with us again sweet girl!! xoxo
PS-that last "unknown" comment was me! :) Wasn't logged in lol
I love this! My cards are all just propped up on a bookshelf right now - will have to do something clever like you next year. Also: your striped wall is SO GREAT.
