Another weekend has come and gone. Boo.
Although ours was equal part fun and laziness (you really can't beat a Sunday afternoon nap)
with a little new years sprucing up and cleaning thrown in.

Friday night we had a few friends over for apps and wine (and more great birthday presents, thanks girls!).
To munch on I made Pizza Pinwheels (kind of messy but pretty yummy), Bacon Wrapped Potatoes Queso, and BBQ Chicken Dip.
The BBQ Chicken Dip was amazing. Think buffalo dip but with BBQ sauce (obviously).
(Yes our tree was still up, it's down now. And yes sometimes Mister and I dress alike. Thanks for the fun scarf Bethany!)
(Floyd and Autumn l o v e each other, didn't leave each others sides all night.)
That afternoon I met my mom for some birthday shopping (found a new mirror for our striped well-will you soon!) and had dinner at Chuy's.
Neither of us had ever had it before but had been wanting to try it.
Verdict: gooood! Really good chips and lots of yummy sauce options for all of their dishes.
Sunday was a very lazy day with some cleaning, organizing and errands thrown in.
You know, Sunday stuff.
For dinner Mister suggested we use the leftover BBQ Chicken dip on top of a pizza...very good suggestion on his part.
Plus I love being able to use up leftovers in a creative way.

Loveee Sunday afternoon naps! And I love that scarf!
Yay for extending the bday celebrating as long as possible! :)
Chuy's is one of my all time fave places. And yum for queso. i could eat that stuff everyday.
Love the polka dots with the plaid! Super cute!
I'm so jealous you went to Chuy's. There isn't one anywhere near me, so I end up craving it frequently. ha
Okay, I'm thinking I need to try this BBQ dip!! Might be a perfect app for tonight's football game! It's Monday... let's make it Happy!
Floyd says "just hold me mama, just hold me."
Haha my hubby and I dress alike sometimes too :) And I can never get enough Floyd!
Love Saturday afternoon naps!! Floyd looks happy to have found love ;) I try not to dress like my husband, but it happens..he wears a lot of blue and sometimes I already have a cute outfit on hahaha
that sounds like a great weekend! I especially love that y'all made a pizza out of your BBQ dip, sounds delish!
Sounds like a fun weekend! Floyd is the cutest doggie ever, who could resist that face??!!!!
Our tree came down this weekend too. I was kinda sad. And you and the Mr. couldn't be any cuter twinkies!!! Annnnd, those pizza pinwheels are needing to make their presence in my house TODAY!!
Your Floyd reminds me of my Simon; All he really wants is to spoon up next to someone and sleep all day. We speculate that he actually CAUSES naps.
I would be Autumn. But crazier. I go to parties and have people take pictures of me with their dogs instead of them.
Seriously genius with the leftovers!
Love your grey shirt, where did you find that? I was just talking about wanting one yesterday!
Bacon wrapped potatoes queso?? Sounds yummy!

Sounds like a great weekend. Thanks for linking up with us!
That bbq dip sounds awesome, and a fantastic pizza topping! :) I love your grey dotted scarf - do you know where its from? Also...my tree (and all other Christmas decor) is still up. Woops. Maybe this weekend.
