There are some exciting things going on around neck of the woods this week that make this Monday a little more tolerable!

Friday night we had dinner at Tanos with our friends Chris and Autumn.
They have been telling us of it's deliciousness for awhile now and we were excited to check it out.
Verdict: they weren't lying.
I had the short ribs and went to bed a happy lady.
I didn't even realize he was in the picture until I posted it.
Saturday I headed home to spend the rest of the weekend with my mama.
We had brunch, ran errands, went to dinner, devoured blizzards (we are firm believers that it is NEVER too cold for ice cream) and rounded out the evening with Pitch Perfect. I laughed the whole lay through it, again.
And I had a stand in blog helper over the weekend, Miss Sophie!
Sunday
I came back home and Mister surprised me with starting to paint our guest room!
We had some left over paint from our frame wall and had been wanting to paint it for awhile now.
He did some other odds and ends around the house too, he's a keeper ;)
We finished it up Sunday night and I really like the way it turned out!

Sounds like we might need to add that to our never-ending restaurant list. The brunch menu looks good too! And yay for mom time and ice cream in any weather.
