Last week I saw this pin and was immediately intrigued.
2 ingredient cookies, could it be true?
Could they be good?!
Turns out it is true and they are good!
The first batch I made I added a handful of craisins and that turned out well.
But I felt like they needed just a little something else.
My wheels started spinning of all the options I could add to them while still keeping them pretty darn healthy.
I am a big fan of a little sweet treat after dinner and these definitely fit the bill.
So after the first batch was gone embarrassingly quick, I got to thinking about how to improve the second batch. I ended up adding a few more items.
Kitchen Sink Oatmeal Cookies
-2/3 (semi ripe) bananas
-1 cup oats
-1/4 cup chocolate chips
-1/3 cup craisins
-2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional)
-2 teaspoons cinnamon
-1/3 cup flax seeds
1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a cookie sheet
2. Mash up bananas in a bowl
3. Add oats
4. Add remaining ingredients
5. Scoop cookie 'dough' onto cookie sheet
6. Bake for 20-24 minutes until tops are slightly firm
7. Enjoy!
The options for these are literally endless...hence the kitchen sink title. You could literally add just about everything BUT the kitchen sink and make these delicious.
I also love that they are virtually fat free.
They are delicious after dinner or warmed up for a few seconds in the microwave for breakfast.
My mind is already swirling what to add in the next batch.
Here are my thoughts so far on variations to try:
-almond butter
-crushed up nuts
-coconut flakes
-honey
Let me know if you make these!

Anything with bananas, oats, flaxseed, and choc chips I'm all over it seems. I make similar ones and love them. Love how you added more to make it your own! YUM!

These look so good! I might make them and replace the brown sugar with a little agave.
The hubby isn't a fan of banana, but I love them! So that just means more for me :)
