This weekend was one that was a long time coming and I could barely contain my excitement for it. And now that it's over I am so, so sad.
Ever since I met Casey we've dreamed of meeting and having Floyd and Pierre become basset BFFs.
We planned this weekend months ago and have been so excited for it ever since.
It was an amazing, fun, hysterical, basset bonding, blog friends turned real life friends, fantastic weekend.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, this blog world is one crazy, fabulous place and there are seriously some incredible people out there.
We had the best time with Casey and Eric (and Pierre of course!) and can not wait til we can see them again. We both felt as we'd known them for our whole lives and can't believe we just met.
And for the record, Pierre is SUCH a doll, the sweetest and the cuddliest.

Casey and Eric arrived on Thursday night and it was nonstop basset loving, eating, drinking and picture taking all weekend. I think we saw the entire city of Cincinnati and ate everything within it. And I wouldn't change any of it for the world.
Between the four of us we took about a 1,000 pictures since the moment they walked in the door (with an adorable basket full of goodies from Casey) Thursday night so I've tried to narrow it down a tad. Buuuut that was basically impossible so if you don't want to see a million pictures of adorable basset hounds then this isn't the post for you ;)
But if you do...here you go!
And that's a wrap on an epic weekend.
Not much sleep was had (something about staying up until 3am chatting til we can't keep our eyes open any longer) but the fun we had was more than worth it.
Well, I take that back, the bassets slept...double frito and sleep smell anyone?
How was your weekend?
Linking up with Sami!

Y'all are so cute!!! Too bad that we did not bring Baxter with us or we could have had a trio of bassets. I don't know what he would have thought about those young bucks.
I loved your city - it was a great vaca! Thank you for your tips, Sarah!
