Please excuse my absence yesterday, told you I was breaking the rules this week...
Day 14: React to the term, 'comfort'
The first thing I think of when I hear 'comfort' is Mister, in many forms.
First off, just being around, near and with Mister is comforting to me.
His presence puts me at ease and just knowing he's near makes me feel better.
Not too mention, he's pretty comfy to snuggle with too.
Though Floyd is a close second.
Secondly being with clothes. Whenever I
try on clothes and ask Mister if he likes them (because let's be honest,
husbands have to be our in house fashion critics) his first response is
always, 'is it comfy?'
And, every time, I laugh.
He loves for me to be comfortable at all times, whether that be in life or, apparently, clothes.
There are times when he thinks comfy clothes look better than every day outfits or shoes.
And
I do have to agree with him to an extent...BUT us girls know that
sometimes, cute wins out over comfort. This is one girl concept, he's
yet to understand.
But can you really deny the comfy-ness of good sweatpants and a cozy hoodie, especially now that the weather is turning cooler?
And lastly...this one has really mastered the term comfort, to the fullest extent.
If that doesn't say comfort, I don't really know what does. What is comfort to you?
What's on the agenda for your weekend?

i am pretty convinced that there is nothing cuter than a sleeping hound. floyd has "comfort" totally down pat! ;)
ReplyDeleteI work from home and have found that, after working most days in super comfy clothes, I have no interest in wearing pinching shoes or binding outfits on days I DO have to dress up for meetings. I've mastered the art of "business comfortable" since - dresses and boots, mostly, plus skirts and flats.
ReplyDeletePS - Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteAwe, the Mister is so lucky to have you! You guys melt my heart....your entire little family of three!!
ReplyDeleteFur children always display the definition of true comfort...so sweet :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could join Floyd in his little comfort snooze!! Haha, he looks so relaxed!

DeleteYou should probably teach Floyd to relax. He looks a little tense...
ReplyDeleteOoooh, good question! Comfort for me is being home with my family on a cold day wearing sweatpants and having NO agenda:)
ReplyDeleteFloyd...ahhhh! I just adore him! Chris asks me the same thing, "is it comfy?" Hope you had a great week!
ReplyDeleteI love the new layout! Floyd with his frito paws is amazingly handsome :)
