Girl Time

Sorry for the radio silence yesterday...I had an epic weekend and snuggle time with my boys was calling my name.

This past weekend is one that had been on the books for a long time.
Some of my college girlfriends and I (we were missing a few- we missed you guys!!) headed up to New Buffalo, Michigan for a full on girls weekend.

Friday night it was a rooftop dinner, Saturday it was a few parts brewery, distilleries, wineries, shopping, eating and hours of Cards Against Humanity. And more eating.
Add to that laughing til we cried (multiple times) and catching up on life and that was our weekend in a nutshell. And eating, so much eating.
Come Sunday morning no one wanted to leave.
So we didn't, for awhile at least. We made coffee, snuggled up in blankets and sat on the adorable screened in porch of our cabin, listened to it rain and chatted for a little while longer.
The apple cider doughnuts didn't hurt either ;)

Annnd cue the photo dump...take me back now please!

And if that wasn't the bestest weekend I've had in a while, I came home to this on the stove.
Mister blew it out of the park!
Look at all that homemade, wine braised, fresh herb goodness.

Not to mention, our house smelled divine!
Maybe if we ask nicely he will share the recipe with us ;)
