Another one for the books, folks.
I've said it before and I know I'll say it again, this blog world is crazy and awesome and fantastic all wrapped into and brings the best people in your life.
As you may know, Kait was (and still is!!) here for the weekend.
Kait and Floyd hung out during the day on Friday while I worked and I'm pretty sure it was the best day of his life.
Extra long walk, snuggle time, sleeping in the sun on the porch and, of course, tutu wearing.
Friday night we had some friends over for snacks and wine and chit chat.
It was the perfect, delicious evening.
Apple nachos yes yes and more yes.
Saturday morning was full of coffee drinking, bacon eating and sitting around chatting.
We filled the rest of our day with Target and other adventures, basically a really great Saturday.
And then it was time for the evenings festivities...and tutus.
We were invited to a Halloween party and decided that going as ballerinas would be easy, comfy and quick to pull together. Thank goodness Kait packed her tutu.
I haven't dressed up in YEARS but any costume that requires a top knot is a winner in my book.
Mister coordinated this penguin costume all on his own (thank you Amazon).
And now we own a penguin costume if anyone ever needs one.
Thankfully the weekend fun isn't over yet and I get to soak up time with Kait for a few more days. I told her she could stay til Thanksgiving #fingerscrossed

I have a Fred Flintstone, wig, club feet, and all. We should so trade next year. Glad you girls are having a BLASTTT!!! Living vicariously thru you via IG.

Oh my that pic of Floyd in the tutu is to die for...love him. Oh how I wish I could crash your blates...they look like so much fun! Oh and I wanted to ask where you got your cute owl shirt? I just love it!
