After a winter full of staying in and not having many plans, our weekend was chock full of fun with friends. With a good dose of relaxation thrown in as well.
I'm ignoring the forecast for the rest of the week and pushing on vicariously through the dose of sunshine we had over the weekend and the fact that Thursdsay is our 4 (!) year anniversary- more on that later this week.
Here's what went down...
1. Dinner with friends at Coopers Hawk. I am really loving that place and their wine. They may need to get my own barstool soon.
2. Cranked out an 8.5 mile run on Saturday morning and felt great the whole time! Flying Pig I am coming for you.
3. I worked on a project (reveal later this week) and Floyd barked orders at me from inside.
4. And then he was so so tired that he needed to nap in the sun.
I have a similar sacked out pic of Bax on the blog today. They are both two big wads of dog!
ReplyDeleteHaha Floyd with the popcorn is hilarious :) I was so glad to see some sunshine this weekend! It was just a tease for us too though, looking at the forecast. Ugh :(
ReplyDeletehahaha I just love that photo of F barking. I really need to add a few of him to my office. And A-M-E-N to the Vitamin D.
ReplyDeleteLove it! My hounds are all about the laying in the sun now, too. They will just wander out to a random spot in the yard or porch and lay right down and sleep for hours. It basically looks like they've dropped dead... until the UPS truck comes!
ReplyDeleteUgh, so over this week's forecast. It will never end!!
ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounds fantastic. Cooper's Hawk is definitely one of my favs!
I can't wait to hear what you have been working on. You guys are tearing it up in the home projects department! You've done so many already this year!
Nice run! And perhaps I'll have to join you at Cooper's Hawk sometime - so close to my house and I haven't tried it yet :)
ReplyDeleteYou aren't kidding, sunshine is definitely a natural mood enhancer for me! Glad ya had a great weekend.
ReplyDeletego you and your 8.5 miles this past weekend! i've never heard of Coopers Hawk but it sounds like a place I need to check out, especially if they have great wine.
ReplyDeletehappy early anniversary too!
Here's to sunshine!
