Splash of Spring {+ a winner}

With Memorial Day right around the corner and spring in full swing around here, my mind is all things new and bright and fresh.

And today, it's in the wardrobe department.

What is it about warm temperatures, weekends full of plans and sunshine that makes you feel like you need a whole new closet?

I recently switched out my closet (you know, out with the winter, in the with spring/summer) and really took a look at what I had and what I may need to invest in this year.

Turns out I am really lacking some transitional tops for work and weekend.  Our office isn't super casual but I like investing in pieces that I can wear to work and in normal life.  

I picked up a few things at TJ Maxx recently (like this sleeveless chambray -another option here) as a gift to myself after the Pig.

But, of course, I have my eye on a  few other things too.

I am continuously trying to incorporate a little more color and pattern in my life.

Currently my closet is a sea of black and white.  And neon pink...
